Cancer Council Victoria selected to host the next World Cancer Leaders’ Summit

Cancer Council Victoria will host the World Cancer Leaders’ Summit 2025 in Melbourne, Australia, 18-20 November.

The World Cancer Leaders’ Summit is an event that takes place every two years, providing an important forum to secure a coordinated global response to address the spiralling cancer epidemic. The last edition was recently held in Long Beach, CA, 16-17 October.

Cancer Council Victoria comprises experts from across multiple internationally recognised cancer alliances and consortia that in turn represent numerous UICC member organisations.  

Co-hosts of the 2025 Summit include the VCCC Alliance, Monash Partners Comprehensive Cancer Consortium and the McCabe Centre for Law and Cancer. 

Victoria is home to some of Australia's leading cancer centres, and the Summit will receive extensive support from across the government, research institutions and academia in Australia and the Asia-Pacific region. 

The World Cancer Leaders’ Summit also partners traditionally with the World Health Organization (WHO), the International Agency for Research on Cancer (IARC) and the International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA).
